i found out what caused the lockout. it's funny that there was no mention of it while i was in the site, just dead-ends. that's a big boo-boo. from what i've learned creating websites, a good one leads their users to where they need to go and not leave them clueless. a few words like "an email has been sent" would have been an enormous help.
