Pleas be reminded that the Kadaugan sa Mactan meet up will be at 11am Saturday, April 30 @ Cafe Uno near Sykes building, Pandagdait. Lets have lunch together there. There will be a motorcade at 2pm with the FACC going to the display site. We will proceed to the Shell Station AC Cortes for the assembly.

Greeting to the VW peeps here!

Ask ko lang mga boss, maybe you're familiar with the said VW.

Sometime ago...actually years ago in Manila at the Quirino Grandstand, a person from Laguna or Cavite made a custom VW beetle by shortening it by 12 inches in the middle(he cut the car in half and removed 6 inches from either side). the result was a more kind-off sleeker looking VW.

This VW was also mentioned briefly during the premiere episode of the TV Automotive Show "Auto extreme" at Channel 9.

Any idea or pics as to where it's archived? I can't find it anywhere even on google.

The owner even named the car "Punggo" yata...memory is a little bit hazy.

Anybody here familiar or have seen the car on the net or have some pics of it to share? i would greatly appreciate it
