Daghang used car nga maayo pagkaatiman. From experience, wala koy mahay sa 1999 model used car nga akong gipalit and with a reliable auto repair shop like DAJ nga makatabang sa pag atiman, ang napalit nako mas maayo pa ug performance karon than when I got it last 2007. Though di sya sama sa bag-o nga nanimaho ug plastic inig sakay nimo, presko ra gihapon after malimpyohan ug maayo.

Ang gibuhat nako aron di dali maguba sa taya ang body, gigamitan ra nako ug rust converter ang mga parts nga nasugdan na ug nipis kaayo nga taya then cover them with some paint - no more rusts. Some parts will wear overtime regardless new or used car, one has to replace them eventually but the cost is a lot cheaper than doing an installment for several year sa bag-ong car. I suggest dili mag tinihik pag pili ug replacement parts, ang maayong mekaniko kahibalo na sila unsay nindot nga klase and such parts last longer than those baratohon and can save you even more over time. In the end, mas barato ra gihapon sya than having a new car. Have a partner auto repair shop nga makasabot sa kinahanglanon sa sakyanan ug makahatag nimo ug saktong solution sa problema nga di bug-at sa bulsa aron safe ra permi imong sakyanan.

All 3 of my cars are 10 years and older two from 1992 and one from 2001. Find a good shop that can fix your car, and you'll have less problems as the years go by.

Old and used cars are okay.. kung kibaw ka mutan-aw kung unsay mga pisa nga ilisanan og kung kibaw ka mucheck sa condition sa sakyanan. Kung di gani ka kibaw ani, mas maau pang mupalit kag bag.o nya ikaw mismo ang magsugod og maintain ana.

Kasagaran sakyanan sa atoa kay walay klaro nga service history, naay uban nga backyard ra..naay uban nga wala jud (basta mudagan lang). So, para likay labad ulo...mas maau pa palit or i.down ang kwarta sa bag.o nga bubarato (500k php cost car), nya i.maintain og tarong.

Old cars/used cars are okay. Specially kung first car nimo. Nindot kay imo jud ampingan. Ug testingan. Pagwapuhon. Plus carb siya. Dili kaayo hassle compare to new cars na computerbox na gamit.

Ako.a gani Charade , ug Bigbody. Nindot man japun. Ampingan lang jud

Old car owner here. Honda ESi. 1995.

Ako opinion lang.. Nindot sad old cars, as mentioned above. Mods, pagwapo. stand out jud ang old cars labi na mint kaayo.

when it comes to maintenance. Patience lang jud na daghan imu kahilangalan. as expected. Wear and tear sa parts naa jud na maguba.

Sa awto. what you lack in cash, you pay for it with patience. If wala ka patience, nahan ka peace of mind, then you pay for it in cash.

if wala ka sa duha.. ayaw pag awto.. hahaha

Basta ako. hilig man jud ko sa body lines sa karaan na sakyanan ug motor. plus ganahan ko mag kuri kuri. hantod maguba mao na lingaw kaayo ko sa akong almost 2 decade old car.

Pero sometimes, makahinaot sad ta naa tay enuf cash to pay for the peace of mind sa bnew car as a daily driver. Pero naa gihapon ang old toy car. hahaha

i agree with boss @JViLLe. i like sa boxy-curvatures-style of the 80's-90's. if marestore nimo unya ma mods na, mo stand out from the bulky-fat styles of the modern ones.

not to mention the awkward "aerodynamic" lines of today's cars. heheh

used car owner ko, 1993 skyline boss, it depends really on the history of the car and its owners. If you know those owners, medyo abusado sa pag drive, then stay away from buying there junk. But if ang previous owner kay stricto kaau sa maintenance ug ang rason lang niya kay mo upgrade siya ug car. Maybe you can consider buying it. But then again, you need to check it yourself or ask the seller if pwede ba ipa adto ug reputable car shop para ma check ang awto, with the seller of course.
