good question. i guess there's a thin line between cultural practices and superstitious beliefs and both are somewhat connected to each other. when you say superstitious beliefs, it denotes an act that is considered irrational and based purely on folklore or religious practices. cultural practices can be broad. it can range from eating turkey on Thanksgiving (American culture) to foot binding in China. those i don't consider superstitions; they're just purely cultural.
