@iceman25... Wala pa jud update sa Golden Valley... Been there kanina, na porma na ang iyang beams pero dili man kaayo daku for a tall building.. Pero I guess taas jud cguro ni siya kay nag-gamit naman ug crane..

ang sheraton murag paminaw nako wala na gyud nay plano ang SM holdings nga pa oocupyan na dha....pero naa ko nahinumduman nga balita sa una nga wala pa na cya nahuman during construction pa to.....nga 2007 pa daw na i open.....naka ingon gani ko nga dugaya pa gud.....pero tinuod jud cguro to...

Actually the reason why Sheraton has not been operational is due to financial causes.. The building was built during the height of the Asian Financial Crisis of 1997.. Also, daku sad ug gasto ang building because of its foundation.. I myself saw how it was constructed -- piles were plugged into the ground so as to create a stable foundation since reclamation area man siya -- because our store was once located near the entrance of SM City towards the hotel area.....

I think there's no truth regarding atung hiwi daw ang building.. In fact, City Hall was considering to temporarily relocate at the said building when plans for the renovation of the old City Hall building were drawn up...

The only thing that the building needs is a relocator/occupier who will have to spend millions of pesos to dress up the building inside and out (carpets, airconditioner, repainting, landscape, lights, furnitures, fixtures, etc.. etc..).. A recent article I saw in Sunstar stated that SM is bent on pursuing the hotel project..

I saw last night the picture of the ongoing building near isuzu ayala, "Golden Prince Suite"ang iya name and i think mga 8 stry building to cya if im not mistaken. This would mean additional rooms in Cebu, Hope to see more of this in the days to come...
