I've already mentioned this several times sa pikas OnL Thread..... the matter has already been brought up with CLEM of OnL and he denies the similarity although obvious gyud kaayo kay even the intro gi kopya. The Intro... the whole chord progression, the melody, tanan.....
By the way... we sent Simon (of THE CARE) a copy and he's very intrigued of the fact that OnL plagiarized the whole damn song. I have no idea if he's going to take actions or not but it really caught his attention.

Exchanges between OnL and New-Wave fanatics can be seen sa BTTE egroups sa yahoo.

I asked Clem why they skipped the whole songwriting process, and iyang reason is that they were pressed with time. I told him na dili man lisod mo come up ug melodic idea bisag pareha ra ang chord progressions since the latter is constantly recycled man sab, I asked him why they didn't just change the drumbeat just too make it not sound too close for comfort... he mentioned dayon nga dili sila ang ni suwat sa kanta, claiming they did it because of the challenge, and as far as the drumbeat goes, he said "why change it when it sounds good that way".. Then I told him na "where's the challenge while all you guys did was cover the song and re-wrote the lyrics" .. I'm still waiting for his answer.

NO CONSENT at all .... like I said, even the songwriter himself was very intrigued. Coincidence?? very unlikely... the drumbeat, the intro, the melody .... it's a total copy, OnL thought that they can get away with it pero pag una pa nakong dungog sa kanta, I already knew that they ripped it off.
