try connecting ur laptop to a Monitor. maybe defective imong LCD.

the LCD panel is the defective. better replace it. this is the common issue in the Compaq CQ40 model.

try to pm ruelnov here in istorya. he owns a pc/laptop repair shop. very recommended. lots of positive feedbacks.

Try lang ug borrow ug Desktop Monitor Bro then connect imo laptop then if clear ang display din LCD guba sa imo laptop. If same ra ang display b4 sa imo laptop ug sa external na monitor then video chip na bro.. Self check usa para kahibaw u unsa guba aron naa ka idea if adto u technician.. Para dli ka mailad..
