Car Audio enthusiasts,naa unta ko pangutana.

i just bought a pair of bnew speakers. problem nako kay inig gamit nako sa other accessories like, horn, powerwindow or foglight, naa man sound mogawas sa speakers. silbi naay "tick" sound mogawas sa speaker.
na experience pod ni namo sauna sa ride sa akoa papa, naa mo gawas noise sa speaker kung mosilbato siya.

any idea ngano ni? naa ba ko dapat ibutang sa supply nga linya, like filter or something?

akoa setup kay naggamit ko og separate power amp to drive my bnew speakers.

bro, i think naa ni ang deperencya sa power amp nako kay sauna, naka install mani sa car sa akoa papa. before gibaligya sa akoang papa ang car niya, gkuha niya ang poweramp. sauna mo-pitik man pod ang speaker sa akoang papa inig silbato niya. mao pod ni akoang na experience karon. i already set the gain to low, nakuhaan ang pitik pero naa pa gihapon koy madunggan gamay.
any idea kung asa ta makapalit og inline power filter?
and bro, i actually prefer DIY. ganahan man gud ko makat-on ani. i usually do the electrical stuff sa akoa ride.

basin gagmay ra kaayo ka ug wire nga gigamit bro.. ug kuwang ka sa ground.. mao nga naa ka mga static mo sulod sa imo sound system... testingi daw ug diagnose.. for example ayaw ika bit ang HU padulong sa amps.. kung naa ba giyapon mosulod.. para dili ka kaayo dako trabahoon.. kung naa giyapon.. magsugod gyud ka sa HU ug subay.. eg. change the power supply cable sa HU, RCA.. etc.

sir, actually inig ka 3rd HU nani sa amp nako, i can still hear (before and now) the static noise. wala man mawala. i would be surprise kung mawala ni sa 4th HU, hehehe. and for the wires, all 3 setup had different wires/cables, karon bigger lang akoa gigamit.
diba sa uban nga power amp, naa mana connector nga naa nay wires. ang wires nga akoa gigamit, masdako kaysa sa wires nga naa sa power amp.
ang HU diay nako sir kay matawag og upgrade nga direct replacement, same connector raman gud sila. wala ko magdahom nga naa pod diay diretso plug n play nga upgrade. i did not change the cables kay i am not the type nga kusog jud kaayo magpatukar. sa pagka karon gihinayan nako ang gain kay na minimize man ang static pero naa gihapon ko madungog, hehehe

You might consider checking firtst your electricals...

mao ni ako mga pangutana.

1. Are you using proper gauge sa imong power wires as required by your amp? (eg. Gauge 4,8 or 0/1)
2. Have you checked the grounding? Was the amp's ground terminal terminated to a solid metal block of the car?
3. Have you check the surrounding elements of your RCA path ways? Because it is very ideal to separate those RCA lines to those power cables that draw too much current as noise from the surrounding cables could easily be picked up by the RCA cables.

Mas maayo sad, you perform the big 3 to improve current flow of the car.

- Battery Negative to Chassis
- Battery negative to Engine
- Battery Positive to Alternator (Replace the stock cable)

Pag-gamit ug dako nga cable. Either you could use Gauge 0/1, basta ayaw lang mas gamay pa sa gauge 4.

It's common nga magka static sometimes after installing..but daghan kaayo solution nga makasulbad ani like sa post ni "psyche54" totally agree... kung naka 3 HU naka and still encounter the same problem I think off-course ka sa pag DIY or you're still using the same technique sa previous nimo nga mga install.. do i still have to use guage 4 eventhough akoa setup is not that loud and big? i mean loud nga dagko jud og amp and speakers? my amp is only rated @ 25w x 2 rms which is small, i use this to drive my 6 x 9. my amp is not capable of bridge connection, old school pioneer amp. All connections from HU to equalizer to poweramp, i use RCA. wala ko nag gamit og hi-input kay wala may hi-input akoa amp. kung naa man ko amp nga naay hi-input, i still prefer to use RCA, hehehe.
bahin sa grounding, yup, naka ground kaayo sa body ang poweramp.

bahin sa RCAs, i think i have 1 RCA nga dili shielded and not sure kung duol ba to sa powerline. i think ang HU to equalizer nga RCA nako dili shielded. i will replace this, basin mawala.

i also have the big 3 pero ang akoa puros man ground. naa diay positive ani? hehehe. like sa imo gi post sir psyche54? "Battery Positive to Alternator (Replace the stock cable)" i havent use this.

kabahin sa post nimo sir x_tian sa wiring technique, actually all 3 setups (i mean 3 HU setup) kay lain2x nga tao ang ni wiring. i am the 3rd to wire this up but all 3 setup, as what i had said, uses the same amp.
1st setup was using alpine on my fathers toyota small body(sold this car and removed the power amp)
2nd setup kay sa adventure using stock HU
3rd setup( ako na ni setup) using JVC HU

mga sirs, salamat jud sa inyo mga replys, i really appreciate nga gitagaan ko ninyo og idea.
i will try to replace the RCA kadto dili shielded, basin mao to ang mo-dakop og noise.

finally found the source sa noise. akoa diay equalizer kusog mo pick up og noise. akoa nalang gidiretso og connect akoa power amp sa HU. wala nakoa naka experience og "tick" kung mo silbato ko. salamat mga sir sa tips.
i also changed my RCA cables to shielded type
