    Default New Aerial Photography

Aerial photos always look cool. It gives a totally different perspective. It the recent past, aerial photos were usually taken from an airplane or helicopter and was very, very expensive.

With all the advances in technology, the quality of aerial photos taken from radio controlled aircraft has been increasing. The need to charter choppers and light planes to take aerial photos has just been reduced substantially. Please feel free to share any and all photos and videos taken by cameras mounted on radio controlled aircraft of any kind (glider, airplane, helicopter, quadcopter, drone, etc.).

Some shots taken from a GoPro Hero2 mounted on a radio controlled aircraft.

This is the same photo as the first one at the top but without the fisheye effect.

this might be limited to those who have 2 expensive hobby... other option is to use a longer pole and mount the camera on top... or use a jib crane...

beside thread already exists -> https://www.istorya.net/forums/photog...otography.html

Not necessarily expensive especially if it is used for business. It does require skill to fly though. It goes much higher than a pole can reach and a jib crane is not cheap or portable either.

The previous thread has not been active for so long and is not exclusively for photos from radio controlled aircraft.
